Acupuncture

Traditional Chinese Medicine, TCM, explains acupuncture as a technique for balancing the flow of energy or life force- known as Qi- that flow through your body. By inserting needles into specific points, we can help you re-balance your body system.

The initial acupuncture treatment is 2 hours long, so we can go over your past health history. The following treatments are only 1 hour long.

Chinese Herbal Medicine

Chinese herbal medicine is one of the great herbal systems of the world, with an unbroken tradition going back to the 3rd century BC. Alongside acupuncture, Herbal medicine can assist in more efficiently correcting the harmony of the body. Chinese herbal medicines are very safe when prescribed correctly by a properly trained practitioner.

Nutritional Guidance

“Let your food be your medicine and your medicine be your food.”        Hippocrates 460-359

Foods are perceived as natural healing substances that include grains, legumes, vegetables, fruits, nuts and seeds, algae and minerals your body needs to stay healthy. The emphasis is on whole organic food in its simplest form.

Facial Rejuvenation

Facial rejuvenation acupuncture, sometimes referred to as “acupuncture facelift” is a wonderful timeless beauty technique used by Chinese since the Sung Dynasty (960-1279AD). The treatment involves a combination of acupuncture (face, scalp and body), facial Tui Na, and a complete herbal facial regimen.

Shiatsu

Shiatsu is Japanese for “finger pressure;” the use of fingers and palm of one’s hand to apply pressure to particular sections on the surface of the body for the purpose of correcting the imbalances of the body, and for maintaining and promoting health.
